Prep ratings: OHS 12th, SHS 45th

Both Oneida and Scott High remained stable in the latest Prep Performance Ratings, which were released yesterday morning by TSSAA football guru Earl Nall.

The Indians (3-2) remained at 12th after a 30-3 win at Oakdale on Friday evening. Coalfield (5-0) remained the highest-ranked team from Region 2-A, but dropped from sixth position to eighth position after struggling to a 15-13 win at Midway. The Green Wave (2-2) dropped from 18th to 21st with the loss. The Eagles (0-4), meanwhile, remained stable at 56th.

Among other teams in Region 2, Harriman (3-1) jumped two spots to 24th after its 42-13 win over Greenback. The Cherokees (0-5) dropped from 44th to 47th with the loss. Sunbright (3-1) moved up only four spots to 30th despite an impressive 35-0 win over Kings Academy.

Friendship Christian (4-0) continued to sit atop the Class A ratings, while Fayette Academy (5-0) moved up one spot to second after a 17-14 win over third-ranked Jackson Christian. Christian remained at third despite its losing record (2-3). South Pittsburg (4-0) remained at fourth, while McKenzie (3-1) remained at fifth. Cascade (4-0) moved up one spot to sixth after handing Forrest its first loss, 27-7 on Friday. Jo Byrns (4-0) jumped from ninth to seventh with a 34-12 win over Nashville Christian. Trinity Christian (3-1) dropped one spot to night despite a dominating 40-6 win over Halls. Mt. Pleasant (3-2) climbed into the top 10 for the first time with a 34-9 win over Perry County. Last week's 10th place team, McEwen (4-1), slipped to 11th after struggling to a 14-7 win over White House-Heritage.

In Class 3A, Scott High (3-2) remained at 45th despite a disappointing, 70-18 loss to Austin-East. The Roadrunners (2-3) jumped four spots to 13th with the win.

Region 2-3A Fulton (4-0) remained in the top spot in Class 3A after defeating Boyd-Buchanan 40-6. The rest of the top 10 included David Lipscomb (4-1) unchanged at second. Knoxville Catholic (4-0) was unchanged at third after dominating defending state champion Livingston Academy, 49-0. Jackson South Side (4-0) moved up one spot to fourth after a 49-14 win over McNairy Central. Covington (4-0) moved up one spot to fifth with a 20-6 win over Haywood County. Crockett County (4-0) dropped two spots to fourth despite a 28-14 win over Dyersburg. Station Camp (5-0) remained unchanged at seventh. Region 2's Kingston (4-0) moved up one spot to eighth after its 30-15 win over Anderson County. Polk County (4-0) moved up one spot to ninth with a 27-0 win over Grundy County. Knox Carter (4-0) cracked the top 10 at 10th with a dominating 64-12 win over Pigeon Forge.

The rest of Region 2 included Anderson County (0-4) at 29th, down two spots after its 30-15 loss to Kingston, and Livingston Academy (0-4) unchanged at 42nd after its 49-0 loss to Catholic.
