Oneida jumped one spot to 12th in the latest Prep Performance Ratings, which were released this morning by TSSAA football guru Earl Nall.

The Indians moved up from 13th despite losing to Williamsburg 21-0 on Friday, likely because Williamsburg's key playmakers — quarterback Thomas Frazier and receiver Chase Hamblen — are ranked among the best in Kentucky at their respective positions.

Coalfield remained the highest-ranked team from Region 2-A, but remained at sixth position despite its big win over Class 2A Oliver Springs (28-21) on Friday evening.

Friendship Christian (3-0) remained in the poll's top spot after an off-week. Fayette Academy (4-0) moved up one spot to third after its 35-0 win over West Carroll. Jackson Christian (2-2) slipped from second to third after a lopsided 55-7 loss to Jackson South Side.

Other teams in the top 10 include South Pittsburg (3-0) at fourth, McKenzie (2-1) up two spots to fifth, Cascade (3-0) up three spots to seventh, Trinity Christian (2-1) at eighth, Jo Byrns (3-0) unchanged at ninth and McEwen (3-1) at 10th. Surprisingly, Trousdale County (1-3) dropped 15 spots, from fifth to 20th, after a 35-0 loss to Class 2A Smith County.

Among Region 2-A teams, Midway (2-1) jumped from 22nd to 18th following its 38-6 win over Silverdale Academy. Harriman (2-1) jumped from 33rd to 26th with a 25-14 win over Wartburg Central. Sunbright (2-1) jumped from 39th to 34th with a 35-6 win over Jellico. Greenback (0-4) jumped from 46th to 44th despite its 21-13 loss to Union County, while Oakdale (0-3) remained unchanged at 56th following an off-week.

In Class 3A, Scott High jumped one spot to 45th after a lackluster 22-18 win over Taft Youth Center. The Highlanders (3-1) had slipped one spot to 46th after defeating Oliver Springs 46-40 last week.

Region 2-3A foe Fulton (3-0) climbed to the top of the Class 3A rankings after its 24-21 over Alcoa. The Falcons were ranked second last week, but leapfrogged David Lipscomb (3-1) despite Lipscomb's 34-0 win over Clarksville NW. The rest of the top 10 included Region 2's Knoxville Catholic (3-0) at third, up one spot from fourth, Crockett County (3-0) up one spot to fourth, Jackson South Side (3-0) up one spot to fifth, Covington (3-0) down three spots to sixth after struggling to a 12-7 win over Brighton, Station Camp (4-0) up two spots to seventh, Dyersburg (4-0) cracks the top 10 at eighth, Region 2's Kingston (3-0) up one spot to ninth, and Polk County (3-0) down two spots to 10th.

The rest of Region 2 included Austin-East (1-3) at 17th, down six spots despite a 41-28 win over Karns, Anderson County (0-3) down four spots to 27th following a 21-6 loss to Webb, and Livingston Academy (0-3) at 42nd, down an incredible 30 spots to 42nd after an embarrassing 47-0 loss to Station Camp.
