Week 8: Sunbright at Oneida
It's do or die for the Indians when they host Sunbright Friday night at Dr. M.E. Thompson Field. A win keeps Oneida in the hunt for the playoffs, but a loss assures that the Indians will be spending the post-season at home for a second consecutive year. Last year, in a similar situation, Oneida lost to Sunbright 14-7 in Morgan County. This year, the Tigers were on a roll, winning four straight, but the wheels have come off the last two weeks, with blowout losses to Harriman (42-13) and Midway (39-19). The Indians have also suffered disappointing setbacks to the same teams the past two weeks, losing to Midway 25-0 and to Harriman 29-7. Which team will break out this week? Which team will capture Region 2's fourth playoff spot?
