Off-road track to host award-winning singers
STRUNK, KY. — One of the most popular groups in gospel music will be in concert at the Southern Kentucky Off-Road Complex Saturday evening.
The Crabb family — including Jason Crabb, Aaron and Amanda Crabb, and Crabb Revival — will be presented in concert Saturday at the off-road complex, which is located just across the state line from Winfield.
The award-winning family has recorded a number of popular songs over the last several years. Originating in Beaver Dam, Ky., the Crabbs had 16 #1 songs on the national charts before disbanding as a family group in 2007.
Jason Crabb, the oldest of the Crabb siblings who was the lead singer when the family all sang together as the Crabb Family, was voted Favorite Male Artist at the inaugural Harmon Honor Awards in 2000. In 2004, he was named the Gospel Music Male Vocalist of the Year.
A pastor, Jason Crabb has worked extensively with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir as a soloist, and has been rumored to be a candidate to join the iconic Gaither Vocal Band this year.
The concert is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Tier seating is available; spectactors should take their own chairs.
The ticket cost is $20 if purchased at the gate, or $15 if purchased in advance. Tickets can be purchased by calling 569-5346 or 569-6674.
