Willie E. Sexton, 72, of the Paint Rock community, passed away December 20, 2009, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
Born January 18, 1937, he was preceded in death by his parents, Schofield and Opha Sexton; two sisters, infant Beatril Sexton, and Ella Mae McQueen; one nephew, Rodney McQueen; and great-grand-niece, Amber Nicole Sexton.
He was of the Church of God faith.
He is survived by three brothers: Claude Sexton, Milford Sexton and wife, Betty, and Fred Sexton and wife, Janis; two sisters: Mary Lee Sexton and Ivanee Sexton; four nephews and two nieces: Jack McQueen, Shaun Sexton, Gary Sexton and wife, Robin, Freddy Wayne Sexton and wife, Myra, Chanel Elam and husband, Tony, and Jill Potter and husband, Mike; and many other relatives.
His wishes were to be cremated.
Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida had charge of arrangements.
