Pearl Lawson, 90, of Huntsville, passed away November 3, 2009, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Scott County in Oneida.
Born June 12, 1919, she was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Merdie Brown Lawson; one sister, Rosetta Manuel; and brothers-in-law: Raymond Jeffers and Tom Manuel.
She taught music at the Norma School for a number of years.
She is survived by two sisters: Florena Jeffers, and Marian Drager and husband, Frank; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted November 7, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Cecil and Rev. Michael R. Jeffers officiating. Music was provided by Helenwood Church Choir. Interment followed at Fairview Memorial Cemetery.
West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
