Patricia O. Ballard, 59, passed away January 20, 2010, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville.
Born December 30, 1950, she was preceded in death by her parents, Baley and Orpha Mae Chambers Carson; her husband, Clennie Morris Ballard; and three brothers: Kenneth, James, and Walter Carson.
She was a member of Sugar Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Curtis Carson and wife, Mary Lyn, and Darin West and wife, April, all of Oneida, and Tricia Griffith and husband, Les, of Robbins; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three brothers: William Carson and wife, Midge, Obal Lee Carson, and Atris Marshall Carson and wife, Nancy; two sisters: Joyce Chambers and husband, Dean, and Sarah Lawson and husband, Robert; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted January 23, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Mike Chambers and Bro. Keven Sexton officiating. Music was provided by Linda Massengale and Tammy Hutson. Interment followed at Carson Cemetery.
Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville had charge of arrangements.
