Patricia Lane Haley Moore, 82, of Oneida, passed away January 6, 2010, at Huntsville Manor.
Born in Lexington, Kentucky, April 6, 1927, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lane Willis and Mary Margaret Haley.
She was baptized at an early age at Davis Fork Baptist Church in Lexington, Ky.; and was the owner of Canine Coiffure, a dog grooming and boarding business for 50 years.
She is survived by five children: Patricia (Jinx) Gallagher and husband, John, of Maryville, William (Fayette) Cooper and wife, Patricia, Charlsey Jordon Long, and Holly (Jayne) Laxton and husband, Jeff, all of Oneida, and William S. Cooper and wife, Denise, of Fairfax, Va.; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, one sister, Eva Jayne Graig of Boise, Idaho; cousin, Tommy and Ann Asbury of Lexington, Ky., two nephews, one niece, special friends: Janette and George Taylor, Ann Windle, Fred Marcum, Rosa Lee Coffey, Becky West, Marvel Waldridge, Sophie Hutchison, and very special friend, Dr. Bruce Jasper; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted January 8, in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Robert King officiating. Music was provided by Marcy Thomas, John Vernon Thompson, Jr., and Laura Cooper. Graveside service was conducted January 9, at Cooper Memorial Gardens.
Jones & Son Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
