NASHVILLE — Oneida’s Andrew Buttram and Dylan West have received all-state recognition by Tennessee’s high school football coaches.

The two seniors were among 13 Class 2A players named to the Tennessee Football Coaches Association’s all-state team.

Wartburg’s Aaron Hutchison also received all-state recognition.

West was also named to the sportswriters’ all-state team, along with OHS junior Sam Woodard.

West, a defensive back, and Buttram, defensive end, were key contributors on an Oneida defense that once again ranked at the top of its district.

Other Class 2A players receiving recognition were Kaleb Allen and Mason Hensley (Jackson Co.), Ben Beasley and Matthew Crowe (Boyd-Buchanan), Josh Carroll (Adamsville), Tyler Edwards (Trousdale Co.), Ronald Harris (Mt. Pleasant), Ricky Hord (Cascade), Lee Maasen (Friendship Christian) and David Woodard (East Robertson).
