OHS inks deal with Adidas

Oneida High School’s football program has partnered with Adidas, OHS Coach John Brewster and Adidas Territory Representative Ryan Brown announced Monday.

The partnership, which goes into effect for the 2010 football season, will include Oneida’s players, coaches and support personnel wearing Adidas clothing, gear and uniforms.

“We are so excited about the Adidas partnership for our current and future players at Oneida High School,” Brewster said. “The kids are working extremely hard at representing our school and our football team with pride, class and character.”

“Adidas is very proud to have the Oneida High School football program as a part of the Adidas family,” Brown said. “We have been working towards this goal for the past few seasons and we were finally able to bring the football program on board with the help of head coach John Brewster.”

Brewster said the team’s uniforms will very closely resemble Oneida uniforms from years past, as well as the current uniforms worn by the University of Tennessee football team.

“I think the Oneida family will be very pleased with our new uniforms and other gear,” Brewster said. “We feel our kids deserve to wear the best and Adidas is certainly the best.”

Oneida is coming off back-to-back region/district championships, and advanced to the semifinals of the Tennessee Class A state playoffs in 2008.
