Nola Cross, 72, of Winfield, passed away February 11, 2010, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Scott County in Oneida.
Born March 7, 1937, she was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Edna Wright Trammell; one grandson, Scotty Trammell; four sisters, and six brothers.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Manford Cross of Winfield; sons: Lanford Cross and wife, Sally, Allen Cross and wife, Lena Mae, and Tim Cross and wife, Debbie; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, brothers: Joe Trammell and wife, Lydia, and Robert Trammell and wife, Margaret; special nieces: Rena Pennington, Betty Brewster, and Alfredia Duncan; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted February 14, at Pleasant Grove United Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Campbell and Rev. Bert Burchfield officiating. Interment followed at Cross Cemetery in Winfield.
West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
