HUNTSVILLE — A Scott County man has been accused of using a cellular phone to send nude photos of himself to an 11-year-old child.
Jonathan Dennis Burchfield, 23, has been charged with exhibition of materials to a minor.
According to an arrest warrant filed Friday by Scott County Sheriff’s Department Det. Ricky Lee Jeffers, Burchfield allegedly sent multiple text messages to the 11-year-old girl, beginning in August and continuing into October.
Allegedly, Burchfield told investigators that he initially pretended to be a boy who was about the victim’s age and friends with her, in order to persuade her to talk to him, before later telling her his first name and age.
The warrant alleges that Burchfield told investigators that he wanted a relationship with the child.
