Lois Wright Hogan, 66, of Sale Creek, Tennessee, passed away February 28, 2010, at her home.
Born in West Virginia, February 27, 1944, she was preceded in death by her parents, Hobart and Rosa Branim Wright; Franklin LeBron Hogan; two brothers, Casto and Kenneth Wright; and four sisters: Flonnie Blevins, Wanda Compton, Aree Blevins, and infant Linda Wright.
She was a member of Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle.
She is survived by her husband, William Smith of Sale Creek, Tenn.; children: James Allen Hogan and wife, Kim, and Chris Hogan and wife, Carol, all of Chattanooga; step-daughter, Lisa Monday and husband, Rick, of Ohio; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sisters: Marie Byrd and husband, Hubert, Flora Terry, Hazel DeBord and husband, Bob, Onlee Garrett and husband, Clifford, and Ruth Ainsworth and husband, Guy; several neices and nephews, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted March 2, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida with Bro. Guy Ainsworth officiating. Graveside service was to have been conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 3, at Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins.
Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida had charge of arrangements.
