Linda Sue Jones Bacon, 63, of Robbins, passed away January 8, 2010, at her home with her family by her side.
Born November 1, 1946, she was preceded in death by her parents, Harding Ray and Beulah Aleas Pryor Jones; and one brother, Larry Ray Jones, Sr.
She was a born again Christian.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Beacon, Sr.; one daughter, Loretta (Lesa) Bacon of Deer Lodge; one son, Robert Bacon, Jr., of Robbins; three grandsons, sisters- and brothers-in-law: Joyce Marie Jones, andCindy and Henry Starett, all of Robbins, Karen and Les Bertram of Arnold, MO, Judy and Harold Rogers of Hartford City, Ind., Faye Brooks of Muncie, Ind., Richard and Denise Bacon and Kent and Cora Shonk, all of Hartford City, Ind., and Bruce and Mary Helen Shonk of Port Charlotte, Fla.; special aunt, Norma Pryor of Hartford City, Ind.; 24 nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted January 12, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Griffith and Rev. David Walker officiating. Music was provided by David and Felicia Walker. Graveside service was to have been conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Kilenback Cemetery.
West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
