Joan Pemberton, 82, of Kingston, formerly of Huntsville, passed away January 13, 2010, at Harriman Care and Rehab Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bernice Pemberton.
She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Kingston.
She is survived by one sister, Elma Price and husband, Charles, of Kingston; nephews: Daniel Price and wife, Debbie, of Fayetteville, Tenn., and David Price and wife, Melody, of Lillington, NC; great-nieces and nephews: Natalie Price of Atlanta, Ga., Meredith Lee Price of NY, Mollie Cannady and Marshall Price, both of Lillington, NC, and Brandon and Dillon Price of Huntsville, Ala.; cousins: Angela Morrow of Huntsville, Tenn., Charles Griffith of NC, and Olsen Pemberton of Brazil; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted January 16, at First Presbyterian Church in Huntsville, with Rev. Martha Ann Fairchild officiating. Interment followed at Hazel Valley Cemetery in Oneida.
Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville had charge of arrangements.
