Jo Ann Burress, 75, of Huntsville, passed away December 6, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Bessie Miller Burress; her husband, Clifford Burress; one son, Gregory J. Burress; and one brother, Ted Burress.
She was a member of Nicks Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Danny Burress and wife, Gini, of the Nicks Creek community; three granddaughters, two great-grandchildren, one sister, Betty Massengale; one brother, Ray Burress and wife, Shelda; one sister-in-law, Zora Burress; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was to have been conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Nicks Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Massengale and Rev. Ricky Sharp officiating. Interment was to have followed at the church cemetery.
Cross-Smith Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
