Jimmy Ray "Cheata" Anderson, 55, of Oneida, passed away November 27, 2009, at his home.
Born in Centre, Alabama, September 29, 1954, he was preceded in death by his parents, W.M. and Dorothy Griffin Anderson; and his father-in-law, Lewis Armstrong.
He was a member of Hopewell Advent Christian Church in Centre, Ala.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Anderson of Oneida; two sons: Thomas Anderson and Tyler Anderson, both of Knoxville; mother-in-law, Ann Armstrong of Centre, Ala.; three brothers: Larry Anderson and wife, Genie, Jerry Anderson and wife, Anne, and Randy Anderson and wife, Sally; two sisters: Brenda Linman and husband, Butch, and Charlotte Lindsey; several nieces, nephews, and special friends, and many other relatives.
Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida had charge of arrangements.
