Jackie Byrd, 51, of Huntsville, passed away February 9, 2010, at Baptist West Hospital in Knoxville.
Born February 1, 1959, he was preceded in death by his parents, Odeva and Audie Mae Strunk Byrd; his wife, Rhonda Meece Byrd; and two brothers, Ricky Dean and Timothy Byrd.
He was a member of Capital Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Jacklyn Byrd of Huntsville; one brother, Robbie Byrd and wife, Crystal, of the Ditney Trail community; nieces and nephews: Allison Byrd, Savanna Byrd, Cody Byrd, Hadlen Byrd, and Dalton Byrd; special friends: Toney Bridges, Denny Thomas, and Lester Perkings; several aunts and uncles, and many other reltives.
Funeral service was conductyed February 13, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Carlie Duncan and Bro. Brian Strunk officiating. Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery.
West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
