Helen Newport Ross, 83, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Scott County, passed away October 18, 2009, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.
Born May 15, 1926, she was preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt and Sophia Craig Newport; and her husband, George William Ross.
She was a member of Bells Lane Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Richard A. Ross, Brenda J. Parker, and Larry D. Ross; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one sister, Kay Lloyd; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted October 21, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Dean Ross officiating. Music was provided by Irene and Thea Chitwood. Interment followed at Ross Cemetery.
West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
