Floyd Clinton Cooper, 53, of Oneida, passed away October 21, 2009, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Scott County in Oneida.
Born November 13, 1955, he was preceded in death by his parents, James Arvil and Lula Darrow Cooper; and one sister, Betty Muse Fitzgerald.
He is survived by one son, Brandon Cooper and wife, Valena, of Oneida; one step-grandson, two sisters: Mary Lou Jeffers and husband, Jimmy, of Oneida, and Pansy Byrge and husband, Tim, of Norma; five brothers: Huston Cooper, Lindell Cooper, Cletis Cooper and wife, Karen, and Rick Cooper and wife, Teresa, all of Oneida, and Dewayne Cooper and wife, Anita, of McCreary County, Ky.; special nephews: Daniel, Cletis, and Dale Cooper; special friends: Daniel and Angie Woods, and Danny Butler; several other nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted October 24, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Muse officiating. Interment followed at Pine Hill Cemetery.
West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
