Evelyn Hutson Ipock Martin, 89, of Helenwood, passed away October 27, 2009, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Scott County in Oneida.
Born July 3, 1920, she was preceded in death by her parents, McKinley Hutson and Sarah Duncan Hutson Tipton; infant daughter, Darlene Ipock; first husband, Price Ipock; second husband, Rex Martin; two brothers, Frank and Monroe Hutson; and two sisters, Ada Sams and Gladys Ipock.
She was an active member of Helenwood Baptist Church for 50 plus years.
She is survived by one son, Larry Ipock and wife, Kathryn, of Oneida; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted October 30, at Helenwood Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Cecil officiating. Music was provided by Arnold and Lloyd Stephens. Interment followed in Daniels Memorial Cemetery.
West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
