Ethel L. Nadine West, 81, of Jacksboro, formerly of Scott County, passed away January 13, 2010, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County.
Born October 11, 1928, she was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Narra Williams Neal; her husband, Floyd West; one daughter, Janice Sue West; four brothers: Roy L., Virgil, Daniel, and Ernest Neal; and one sister, Ruby Phillips.
She is survived by one daughter, Velva Clear and husband, Johnny, of Jacksboro; one sister, Emma Coon and husband, Roger; one brother, Joseph Neal and wife, Nelda; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted January 17, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Cecil officiating. Interment followed at Troxel Cemetery in the High Point community.
West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
