Darry Delynn Smith, 22, of West Oneida, passed away suddenly November 21, 2009, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Scott County in Oneida.
Born in Knoxville, March 26, 1987, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald and Jean Pierce, and Leon Smith; and great-grandparents, Maudie and Elwood Sexton.
He attended New Haven Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Tommy and Deanna Smith Pierce; two sisters: Chemeea Pierce and Bianca Pierce; aunts and uncles: Tessie and Ronnie Sexton, Casey Chambers, Crystal and Brandon Tucker, Jodie Smith, Deon and Christy Smith, Michael and Savanna Smith, Dedra Carson, Judy and Philip Blevins, and Teddy Pierce; special grandmother, Gladys Smith; special friends: Eric Smith, Jake Buttram, Toby Jeffers, Chris Rogers, Amanda Ball, Holly and Whitney Taylor, Logan Jeffers, and DJ Smith; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted November 24, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida. Interment followed at Hazel Valley Cemetery.
Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida had charge of arrangements.
