Colleen Lynn Overton, 68, of Helenwood, passed away December 3, 2009, at Ft. Sander’s Medical Center in Knoxville.
Born December 5, 1940, she was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Cleo Overton Willis; three brothers: Jack, Bob, and Ken Willis; and one sister, Nina Blankenship.
She attended New River Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Terry L. Davis and wife, Misty, of Powell; two grandchildren, two brothers: Bill Willis and wife, Wanda, of Louisville, Ky., and Junior Willis and wife, Dorothy, of Buffalo, NY; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted December 5, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Mulkey officiating. Interment followed at Carson Memorial Park.
West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
