Charlene Colwell, 70, of Winder, Georgia, passed away November 2, 2009.
Born in Oneida, she was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Claughtett Hicks Blakley; and one sister, Kathleen Aaron.
She was retired from Lucent Technology.
She is survived by her husband, Randall H. Colwell of Winder, Ga.; her daughters: Billie Joe Colwell, and Destani Sutton, both of Winder, Ga., Diana Sutton of Dawsonville, and Lisa Harward and husband, Jamie, of Hoschton; sons: Rick Bowling and wife, Barbara of Monticello, Ga., and Mike Bowling of Alpharetta; step-children: Robert A. Colwell of Doraville, Randy Colwell of Lawrenceville, and Tammy Lucas of Griffin; 17 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brothers: Jimmy and Sarah Blakley of Vermillion, Ohio, and Charles Blakely of Winfield.; sister, Wilma and Ernest Day of the Ditney Trail community; one uncle, Ray Blakley of Oneida; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.
Funeral service will be held at a later time.
Smith Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Winder, Ga., had charge of arrangements.
