Alice Marie Smith, 73, of Hesperia, Michigan, formerly of Oneida, passed away November 19, 2009, at her home.
Born in Scott County, February 5, 1936, she was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Charity Hughett; one son, Jerry Johnson; and one brother, Jim Hughett.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Smith; two children: Penny Brackia and Terry Johnson, both of Grand Rapids, Mich; five step-children: Shella Brenaman, Lynette, Ted, Todd, and Tom Smith, all of Hesperia, Mich.; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one sister, Betty Smith and husband, Herb, of Oneida; one brother, Larry Hughett of Denison, Tex.; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted November 23, in the chapel of Raymond Funeral Home in Hesperia, Mich.
Raymond Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
