Obituary: Bill Seabolt, 84

Herbert W. “Bill” Seabolt, of Helenwood, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021 at the Oneida Nursing & Rehab Center in Oneida. He was 84.

Life: Born in Scott County on Feb. 9, 1937, Bill was the son of the late Millard and Tiny Preston Seabolt. He attended the West Oneida Baptist Church.

Preceded in death: In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Pittman Seabolt; sisters, Anna Lou Kidd, Judy carol Burress and Linda Joyce Carson; brothers, Gordon, Dnnis Michael and Larry David Seabolt; and by an infant son.

Survivors: Bill is survived by,
• Son, Chris Seabolt and wife Marilynn;
• Grandchildren, Wyatt, Morgan and Donavan;
• Brother, Wayne Seabolt and wife Kitten;
• Sisters, Barbara Jean Bull and husband Joe of Florida, Brenda Richardson and husband Charles of Florida, and Betty Jackson and husband Berry of Florida;
• Many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends, as well as special lady friends at the Oneida Nursing Home.

Services: Friends may visit with the Seabolt family on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021 from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. David Webb officiating. Music will be provided by the Seabolt family. Committal service will follow in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery in Oneida. Pallbearers will be Wyatt, Morgan, Donavan Seabolt, Scott Seabolt, and Jeremy and Dana Carson.
